–2012

Sittingroomskipping have been very quiet these days as 2012 is coming to an end.
But from 2013 onwards, few things will be changing; added, multiplied and developed for a wider and diverse platform.

Will be announcing some news as they come along, until then.

Sittingroomskipping team.

Our 3rd installment of the group exhibition at Powerlunches (Dalston/Haggerston) with guest curator Lauren Jetty Howells-Green (Central Saint Martins BA Fine Art student).Asking other artists and students from Central Saint Martins to explore and create a work based on Iain Banks’ novel Wasp Factory (1984).A little something about Wasp Factory:“Two years after I killed Blyth I murdered my young brother Paul, for quite different and more fundamental reasons than I’d disposed of Blyth, and then a year after that I did for my young cousin Esmerelda, more or less on a whim. That’s my score to date. Three. I haven’t killed anybody for years, and don’t intend to ever again. It was just a stage I was going through”Showcasing works by:Estelle BirchRuby CedarSamantha HareLauren Jetty Howells-GreenBriony KirbyDaisy Madden-WellsTosin OgunsanyaMolly PearceAmber RoweIzzi ValentineAlice WoodsCome along to the exhibition on 28th Saturday July, 2012 @ Powerlunches. The facebook event:http://www.facebook.com/events/233964726722026/
